I only visited Cape Town for a very short time, and, after reading all the tourist advice for South Africa (mostly about crime etc.), I was a little nervous. In addition, I have some health issues and some mobility limits that normally don't preclude me from joining group tours, but which could theoretically lead to me leaving a tour partway through - something that I was unwilling to risk during my first visit to South Africa. So I decided to book private / one-on-one tours. I liked the fact that Radheeka's profile suggested she specialises on tours tailored to her customers' wishes, so I wrote to her, explaining the mobility issues to take into account and also mentioning some of my hobbies / interests (I like to take photos with a small drone). Radheeka took everything on board and planned a tour to fit my wishes / needs. She quoted a price for the tour, which was fair for the level of customisation and preparation involved (though even expecting that the platform would add a commission and use exchange rates to its advantage, I was taken aback at how much the final price had increased by the final checkout: do better by your guides, Withlocals!) Radheeka was brilliantly communicative ahead of time and on the day of the tour she was a delight to be around: friendly, with a great sense of humour, and attentive to my specific situation. She let me know where drone flying was not permitted, but also planned in stops specifically for potential drone flying. (She even arranged for plenty of sunshine during the day - now if only she'd managed to rein in the winds a little in the morning... 😉). All in all, my day with Radheeka was probably the best experience I ever had as a tourist - even with temperamental winter weather. I wholeheartedly recommend Radheeka as a tour guide for Cape Town: she turned a day trip into a travel highlight I'll remember for a long time.

Radeeka is RADICAL! She is such a super fun host and it felt more like speaking to a friend that a guide. Even though she does know SO MUCH about Cape Town. The day went past way to fast because we were having such a great time together!
I cannot recommend enough! My entire itenerary had to be changed last minute due to weather, and Radheeka did not miss a beat. She was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and fun. I will always remember my lovely day out and about in Cape Town with Cape Radical Tours!
When we travel, we like guides who have great local knowledge and value customer service. To us, great customer service on tours means reading your client and understanding what they like or don't like and what pace/speed they want to enjoy on tour. There is no better example of this than Radheeka and Cape Radical Tours. From the moment she picked us up to the time she dropped us off, she was focused on giving us the trip of a lifetime. We toured Cape Point with her and up the Garden Route over 3 days incuding side trips to wine country and Little Karoo. Every step of the way was gorgeous, interesting and memorable thanks to Radheeka. She adapted to our personslities and suggested edits to the itinerary based on our feedback and how she perceived what we were really enjoying. Even better, she stayed with us when we wanted her to do so, and she gave us privacy when we sensed it. Overall, it was exceptional customer service. I can't wait to go back to South Africa, and when I do I'll be contacting Cape Cape Radical Tours to build us our next adventure.
In early April we decided to head to Cape Town, South Africa nine days before we were to meet up with a group of friends at the beginning of May. This was our first time in South Africa from the United States. Some friends gave Cape Radical Tours a good recommendation. So, just a few weeks before we arrived we contacted Radheeka and she put together what turned out to be an awesome five day private tour down the Garden Route from Cape Town to Plettenburg Bay. The accommodations were excellent and our guide, Garth was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. To fill in the remaining four days we enjoyed a wine tour, with another couple that arrived early, that was also put together by Rahdeeka. Again, a great tour around the Stellenbosch area. Five stars!
Radheeka was very responsive and quick to answer our questions. Every recommendation she made was great - from restaurants to vineyards! She coordinated wine tasting in Stellenbosch, Paarl and. Frankkoesch and we loved every minute. I would highly recommend her services for Cape Town and wine country. Our favorite restaurant (Post and Pepper) in a 30 day trip was her recommendation.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to have Radheeka Reyatt as our guide for our trip through this beautiful country! From touring the city of Cape Town and standing atop Table Mountain at sunset to Cape Point, the Conga Caves, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, the southernmost tip of Africa, seeing the African penguins and even a stranded/lost King Penguin this beautiful young lady made sure we saw everything we hoped for and even more than we ever thought possible! Her easy smile and laughter (which we shared much of) to her knowledge of her homeland made our ‘trip of a lifetime’ into something we will never forget! Thank you Radheeka, you now own a very special place in our hearts and we hope someday you may decide to visit us in our beautiful country where we will do our utmost to repay you for your wonderful dedication to making our tour of South Africa everything we could have hoped for and even more! We spent a beautiful day with Radheeka in Cape Town. We shared a good talk and also a good laugh. We have seen the beauty of Cape Town in its natural scenery whilst enjoying some lovely wine tasting in-between.
